Humans and Cats and why we worry about different things .

My owner says that one of the most awful things about being a born worrier is believing you are the only one worried. I think that is rubbish and not remotely plausible. Worrying makes humans, human. Thing is, it becomes a tiresome habit and one which nobody is that interested in listening to. Funny how humans are self-engrossed when there is so much to be grateful for. Even a cup of coffee, a smile or something that makes you feel connected. Cats never worry. They only start to fret if they have no food, fleas or a dog chasing them.
Otherwise they remain tuned in to nature where they get the solace they need. Humans rarely tune in to nature because it means quieting the mind and not filling it up with " What if's" or " Oh shit's" or " It's my fault".
Fretting and worrying are emotions. Emotions are from the mind. What one should really do is tune in to that quiet place. Listen carefully to it and only choose to believe in good things. God doesnt make mistakes. Humans forget that a lot. And its a little bit of faith, smeared with strawberry jam, that moves mountains. Not self persecution and thorny thoughts.

I like jam very much.
