Ode to the Cat

Dear Cats of the world,

Unite and demand more freedom of food choices. Drink that coffee,
eat that doughnut and live life on the edge.
Read Books as well. Continue your education. Rebel against cat litter
trays and stretch out on a daily basis to muse on happy thoughts.
Always forgive and forget. Scratch sofa's now and then. Chew ( not smoke)
grass and advocate daily for freedom of Cat speech. Party when you want and
be nice to your owners and they will share all their snacks with you.
Look after your fur, avoid baths, and vets. Dogs are not friends but can
be easily frightened away with a scratch on their noses.
Listen to music, both classical and the odd broadway number.
You too can be a star.
